We have received information from the Department of Agriculture regarding proposed measures for the 2015-16 Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) season, that will affect 'high risk' cargo departing United States ports.

Arrangements have been aligned between Australia and New Zealand with a seasonal risk window for BMSB between 1 September 2015 and 30 April 2016 inclusive.  The measures will therefore apply to targeted goods departing USA ports during this time, irrespective of the date the goods arrive in Australia.
